School Fundraising

Times have altered the way most school districts approach fundraising. A lack of funding and inability to approve measures intended to provide educational relief have left teachers, parents, and PTA/PTO organizations more dependent than ever on each other.

Current circumstances, while dismal and often depressing, offer an opportunity for community members who are interested in the school system to get involved. It is time to go beyond helping our own children's schools and recognize the need to participate in the fundraisers of other schools as well.

This informational site is linked by The Oregon School Boards Association, The International Society for Technology in Education, The Confederation of Oregon School Administrators, The Oregon Education Association, The National School Foundation Association, and dozens of school districts including several of the top 100 largest school districts in the United States (Tucson, Phoenix, and Portland). The following list of fundraising programs are loyalty based and require no student participation.

A	Albertson's Community Partners - If you shop at Albertsons, please use the community Partners Card; it is their way of giving to our local schools.
C-	Amazon Associates - Register your school district or school website and when Amazon customers use your web link to purchase items online, your organization receives up to 10% of the purchase price.
A	Box Tops For Education - Schools receive 10 cents for every coupon clipped off of participating products.
D	Campbell's Soup Labels - A labor intensive program that offers approximately 1 cent per label in trade value.
Not graded	Cell for Cash - offers cash for your old cell phones, they even send you a box and pay the shipping!
A	Escrip, SchoolPop, and Boxtops Marketplace - These programs offer big dividends to the online shoppers favorite school.
A	Fresh Start for Donated Computers - Microsoft program that offers free documentation and operating system CDs to schools to assist in getting donated computers running properly.
Grade dependent upon web site hits	Google AdSense - While not specifically designed for schools, AdSense offers high yield possibilities for the school web site that receives significant traffic. Revenue is generated when visitors click on displayed ads. This is the most popular affiliate program on the web due to its high earnings potential.
A	HP U.S. Employee Cash Matching Program - allows employees to contribute up to $1,000 per year to schools. HP will match the donation dollar for dollar.
A+	Inkjet and Laser cartridges Staples - donates $1.00 to local schools for each ink jet cartridge that is dropped off, however, Rapid Refill Ink is offering up to $4.00 for each used printer cartridge turned in. Online donations can be made through Empties4cash.com, which seems to have a worthwhile program or Funding Factory, which offers free shipping and the option to exchange cartridges and cell phones for cash or merchandise. Please place your used cartridges in a bag and drop them off at a local school. You may also mail inkjet cartridges, cell phones, Box Tops, Tyson A+ coupons, and other fundraising items to Waypoint Corvallis and we will insure that the donations reach local schools.
Grade dependent upon web site hits	LinkShare Corporation - Great referal program that offers a good source of revenue for items that you purchase through the web. D	Labels for Learning - Norpac offers 3 cents cash for every Flav-r-pac, Westpac, and Santiam UPC turned in.
C	Max Perks - When shopping at Office Max, ask the cashier to credit a local school with a portion of your purchase.
A+	Safeway Club Card - (Fill out e-scrip form) - Schools will receive up to 4% of your total purchases. It's easy, generates money, and you don't have to give out your email address!
C	Save Five for Schools - Land O Lakes milk program that offers 5 cents for each gallon of participating Milk, Orange Juice or Chocolate Milk purchased. 2,000 lid minimum redemption.
A+	Scrip - Schools benefit when you purchase gift cards at face value from them.
C	Target credit card or Guest card - Designated schools receive 1% of purchases made at Target and 1/2% of all other purchases made with the card.
C	Tyson A+ - Schools receive 24 cents for every coupon clipped off of participating products.
A	Upromise Schools Program - An excellent opportunity to increase savings from grocery shopping and online purchases. Sign-up for Upromise, link your account to a school, and compound the earnings from your purchases.
A	Verizon Extra Credit for Schools - New or existing Verizon customers can earn 5% of their monthly long distance charges for their school by simply signing up!
